Here is some information on my qualifications.

Education
-I graduated from Middle Tennessee State Univsersity with my BM in vocal/general music education.
-I graduated cum laude, with a GPA of 3.66

Ceritifcations
-I am certified to teach Vocal and General music grades K-12

Student Teaching
-I student taught at McFadden School of Excellence with Susan Wilson.
-While at McFadden I taught general and vocal music, helped start an after school piano class, taught units on guitar, the science of sound and music, and recorder.

-I also student taught at Sunset Middle School with Jeff Myrick.
-I taught vocal and general music there as well. I taught units on guitar, song writing, student created PowerPoint projects,texture, music theory, and helped with the production of both the talent show and the school musical.

Private Teaching
-I also have experience teaching private music lessons at the Music & Arts store in Murfreesboro.
-I have taught privately for the past six years, and have taught students ages 5-63 or so.
-I teach guitar, flute, piano, voice, and some diverse instruments and styles such as Irish flute, tin whistle, fifle, bodhran (Irish drum), song writing, mandolin, and ukulele.

Work Experience
-Aside from teaching, I have worked in the financial aid office at Motlow State Community College while in highschool doing dual enrollment credit. I have also worked for the MTSU financial aid office since 2007, when I first arrived at MTSU as a student.
-From Spring of 2007 to Fall of 2011 I worked as a work study student, on the front counter.
-After I graduated in May, 2012 the financial aid office offered me a temporary position.
-In June of 2012 I moved into the phone operator position in financial aid, a position that I have held ever since.
